Windsor, ON – September 27, 2025 — The Riverside Minor Baseball Club is proud to announce the successful completion of a major facility enhancement project.
A Community Milestone
“This project marks a new chapter for Riverside Minor Baseball,” said Tom Laporte, who led the grant application. “We’re now able to offer a space that’s not only safer and more inclusive, but also equipped with the tools to help our players grow and succeed.”
The club hosted a recognition event on September 27, where community members, MPP Andrew Dowie, volunteers, and representatives from the Ontario Trillium Foundation gathered to celebrate the milestone. The OTF logo has been proudly added to Riverside’s website and promotional materials in acknowledgment of their support.
Continuing the Legacy
Riverside Minor Baseball continues to be a pillar of youth sports in Windsor, offering house league and travel programs across multiple age groups. The club’s commitment to accessibility and excellence is reflected in its support of initiatives like the Farrow Riverside Miracle Park, which provides inclusive baseball opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities.
With the facility upgrades now complete, Riverside is better positioned than ever to serve its athletes and the broader community.
